Results: 2019
Happy New Year to everyone from PPRC! The year 2019 was a year of “Yes” for PPRC. We began the year with a dream about a better way to fight the awful Parvovirus. After putting our heads together and overcoming some nerves, the six of us said ‘Yes” to stepping outside our comfort zone and making the dream a reality. Next we conducted a pilot test to see if our protocols would work – could we really do this? After hitting the ground running – 25 dogs in 30 days – the answer was a resounding “Yes”. Finally, we reached out to all of you to see if there was a need for a recovery center where dogs could be treated while containing the spread of the disease. Once again the response was an overwhelming “Yes”.
Thank you to all of you who have supported, donated, and helped us during our first year. We simply could not have done it without you. With the arrival of 2020, we’ve got some big plans on the horizon including training volunteers, moving into a larger facility, continuing to build relationships with shelters and rescue groups, and developing community education and out-reach programs.
